Important Alert: Nipah Virus Precautions and Hygiene Practices

Due to the situation regarding the Nipah Virus outbreak in parts of India, we are issuing this alert. This virus is serious and has a high fatality rate. As a precautionary measure, we urge everyone to step up their daily cleanliness routine:

  • Food Safety: Avoid eating fruits that may have come into contact with bat saliva or urine. Do not consume fruits that have fallen from trees.

  • Personal Hygiene: Wash your hands frequently with soap, especially after touching animals or being in public areas.

  • Monitor for Symptoms: If you develop a high fever, severe headache, or respiratory issues—and have a history of potential exposure—please see a doctor immediately.

Prevention through vigilance and good hygiene is our best defense. 🙏
